What you may not know is that it's not just the students in Professor Moskowitz's course who benefit. Three of the authors coming to campus to participate in the class are also giving public readings of their work. These are free and open to all who wish to attend.
- Anya Ulinich, Thursday March 5 (Marvin Center Third Floor Amphitheater, 8:00 PM)
- Michael Chabon, Monday March 23 (Jack Morton Auditorium, 7 PM). Mr. Chabon will be introduced by Edward P. Jones, give a reading, and then be interviewed live by Professor Moskowitz.
- Art Spiegelman, Thursday April 2 (Jack Morton Auditorium, 8 PM)

I am a living Jewish American who loves literation and alliteration.
With that said, this event is up my alley. That alley is named Keren. It has very specific zoning laws.
I shall bring my copy of, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay, in toe, just in case (just in case I assault him and force him to sign a copy a la misery).
What? Writers NEED inspiration.
I will also bring my copy to the reading.
That said, I will hopefully bring Eloquence along with me in case Keren, Rhymes w/ Heron forgets hers again.
I like your comment, Keren. I really do. <3
Cyber Death Stare.
Whose death stare would you prefer me to imagine?
The two options for visualizing which most appeal to me right now are as follows:
1. the Darth Vader faces the Emperor or the eyeline shot from the Emperor to Darth Vader?
2. the Terminator. (yes, I have a polo that is embroidered with the Cyberdyne Systems logo, but most people don't recognize it as coming from the movie... most people, there have been a few.)
